Remote Data Architect

Description:

• Velotio Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect/Solution Architect with 8-10 years of experience to join their team.
• The role involves designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive data solutions tailored to clients' evolving needs.
• The Data Architect will work closely with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and robust data architectures.
• Responsibilities include developing data models, evaluating technologies, defining data governance policies, leading data pipeline implementations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying current with emerging technologies and trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in data solutions and coding.
• In-depth knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), data warehousing concepts, and data management principles.
• Proven experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role.
• Deep understanding of data modeling techniques, database design principles, and data management concepts.
• Experience with on-premise data warehouse solutions, data integration tools, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based modern data stacks.
• Familiarity with Data Fabric and Data Mesh architecture patterns.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies.
• Understanding of data governance tools and services, project management, Agile methodology, and presales experience in data solutions.
• Relevant certifications in data management or architectures are a plus.
