Remote Data Architect

Description:

• The Data Architect will be responsible for creating scalable, optimized, and functionally viable data infrastructures to implement data models in organizations.
• They will need to understand the business needs of clients and prospects to provide solid estimates in data science and artificial intelligence projects.
• Responsibilities include participating in pre-sales presentations and gathering requirements from customers, delivering data solution designs, understanding end-to-end Data Science and Data Engineering processes, recommending actions and tools to improve clients' data strategy, and applying best technological and programming practices related to data exchange.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Proficiency in R, Scala, Python.
• Experience with SQL and Non-Relational Databases.
• Prototyping experience.
• Knowledge of Data Governance.
• Design and construction experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Desirable knowledge in Hadoop technologies such as Spark, Hive, HDFS, HBase.
• Desirable knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in English.
