Description:

Finexio is seeking a Data Architect & Engineering Lead to design, develop, and deliver data architecture and facilities to drive scalability and innovation.
The role involves creating business-driven data models, real-time data processing, and integrated databases supporting payments processing and administrative operations software.
Responsibilities include shaping strategic direction, establishing best practices, and overseeing data-related projects to meet business needs.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for data architecture, data modeling, and data-driven decision-making.
Experience in payments or fintech is preferred.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fintech environment.
Expertise in SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL database systems (AWS DocumentDB / MongoDB).
Proficiency in C# and TypeScript.
Experience with payments-related APIs, data analysis tools, data integration tools, CRM BI tools, and emerging AI solutions.
Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering scalable data architectures, pipelines, and integrations.
Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization tools, excellent communication, and leadership skills.
Must excel at multitasking, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a proactive attitude.
