Description:

MentorMate is seeking a Data Architect to design and architect big data solutions that align with business objectives.
The role involves creating robust database back-ends and web services while collaborating closely with the development team to develop conceptual data models and data flows.
Responsibilities include analyzing, designing, and architecting big data solutions, developing best practices for data coding, and implementing data strategies.
The Data Architect will work with the latest development and server technologies from Microsoft, Amazon, and Apache.
The position requires reviewing and analyzing business requirements, communicating with client team members, and participating in rapid design sessions.
The Data Center of Excellence (DCoE) team works on enterprise-scale projects, including AI and ML solutions across various industries.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, and ETL.
Hands-on experience in designing highly scalable ETL processes or data ingestion pipelines is required.
In-depth knowledge of popular database and data warehouse technologies such as AWS Redshift, Oracle, Azure Synapse Analytics, and others is essential.
Familiarity with database design, modeling, data mart, data warehouse architecture, and data lake is necessary.
Expertise in database query execution and optimization techniques is required.
Strong knowledge of systems development, including project management approaches and design/testing techniques, is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
The ability to adapt to and learn new technologies and concepts is necessary.
Fluency in English is required.
