Description:

The Data Architect at Elite Technology will play a pivotal role in shaping the data architecture and reporting strategy for the platform.
This role requires a deep understanding of data management, cloud technologies, and the ability to design scalable and efficient data solutions.
Architects at Elite are hands-on, working with the engineering teams to deliver products to market.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure services and a strong background in data architecture, data governance, and business intelligence.
Responsibilities include defining and implementing the data architecture strategy for the SaaS platform, leading the design and development of scalable models, data pipelines, and data warehouses/lakes using Azure Fabric, and ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
The role also involves developing and maintaining a data governance framework, overseeing data integration and ETL processes, and designing advanced analytics and reporting solutions.
Additionally, the Data Architect will mentor and guide junior data engineers and architects.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, and business intelligence.
Extensive experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Fabric, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics is essential.
A strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts is necessary.
Proven experience in designing and implementing data governance frameworks is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are important.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are needed to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in the legal or financial sectors is a plus.

The position offers 100% remote work, with the option to work from a WeWork in Escazú.
