Description:

Coconut is seeking a Data & Automation Engineer to connect founders and businesses with top-tier remote talent.
The position offers a rate of $12 per hour and requires availability for 20 hours per week in the CST time zone.
Applicants must prepare an English proficiency rating, a Coconut VA profile (resume) in a specific format, and a 1-minute introduction video.
The role involves web scraping, data extraction, data enrichment, internal automations, tool and system integration, experimentation, optimization, and documentation.
Candidates should be prepared to follow specific application tips to avoid delays or disqualification.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience in web scraping and data extraction, building scrapers and bots to extract data from various sources.
Proficiency in data enrichment and structuring is required, including turning raw data into usable formats.
Experience in creating no code/lowcode automations using tools like Zapier and Make is essential.
Candidates should have experience with APIs for tool integration and creating cohesive workflows.
A strong understanding of REST APIs and experience with public APIs for data enrichment is non-negotiable.
Fluency in Python and data handling (Pandas, JSON, CSV) is required.
Candidates should be comfortable using automation tools without extensive coding.
The ability to transform ambiguous goals into structured workflows is necessary.
Good to have experience includes working in fast-paced startups, familiarity with LangChain, and knowledge of data warehousing.
