Description:

  • Ardent is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Databricks Technical Lead to join their dynamic team.
  • The Databricks Technical Lead will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data processing workflows and analytics solutions using the Databricks platform.
  • This position involves leading a team of talented data engineers and data scientists to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Responsibilities include designing scalable data processing architectures, leading and mentoring the team, overseeing implementation of workflows and models, optimizing performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, establishing best practices, providing troubleshooting support, and managing project technical aspects.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related IT field is required.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead with a focus on Databricks and big data technologies is necessary.
  • In-depth knowledge of Apache Spark and Databricks architecture is essential.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or Scala are required.
  • Experience with data engineering concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling is needed.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is important.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills are required.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is essential.
  • All candidates must be U.S. Citizens willing to undergo the government-issued background investigation process.
