Description:
The Data Developer role involves working with data and solving complex problems across the entire data lifecycle.
Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and execute projects from start to finish.
The position requires developing and optimizing Python and SQL scripts for data processing, analysis, and automation.
The Data Developer will assist in creating, maintaining, and enhancing data marts to support analytics and reporting.
Quality assurance (QA) will be performed to ensure accuracy and consistency in datasets and processes.
The role includes validating client-provided data for quality, completeness, and integrity.
Implementing robust testing and validation frameworks to ensure data quality is essential.
The Data Developer will create impactful data visualizations and reports for internal stakeholders, including marketing and sales teams, with potential visibility to clients.

Requirements:
A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent education or work experience is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience with Python, demonstrating mastery of pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience with SQL is necessary.
Experience with Git and version control systems is required.
Familiarity with data visualization tools is preferred.
Strong knowledge of data analysis, manipulation, and visualization techniques is essential.
Candidates should be self-motivated with the ability to independently manage and prioritize tasks in a remote environment.
Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences are required.
A creative mindset and a strong work ethic are important for this role.
Preferred qualifications include familiarity with medical or financial data analysis, experience building and maintaining automated workflows, experience with large-scale datasets and tools like Dask, and experience building Tableau dashboards.

The starting salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000.
