The company is looking for a self-starting Data Engineer to design, develop, monitor, and maintain a robust and scalable data platform.
The Data Engineer will build reliable data pipelines to support the data processing and analytics needs of the team.
Responsibilities include building a scalable data pipeline, developing self-service tools for data consumers, driving data collection and refinement, evaluating new technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.
The position is open to fully remote applicants.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineer or relevant role.
Proficiency in data scripting languages such as SQL, Python, or R is required.
Excellent data manipulation skills using frameworks like Spark/PySpark or Pandas are necessary.
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
Familiarity with data warehouse technologies and data modeling best practices is essential.
Experience in building data pipelines/ETL and understanding design principles is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Machine Learning, or a related technical field is necessary.
Candidates must be analytically rigorous with high attention to detail and be self-starters capable of working independently.
US Citizenship or US Residency is required due to strict data privacy requirements, and candidates must be willing to undergo background checks.
