Description:
Singular is a marketing intelligence platform that unifies marketing analytics, providing actionable insights from previously siloed data.
The Data Engineer will develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures for data acquisition and develop data set processes.
Responsibilities include preparing data for predictive and prescriptive modeling to influence strategic decision-making.
The role involves assembling large, complex sets of data that meet both non-functional and functional business requirements.
The Data Engineer will build the required infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from various data sources, such as Internal APIs, Snowflake, and Salesforce, using Python airflow pipelines, PostgreSQL, and AWS technologies (S3, Redshift).
The position also requires building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insights into key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
The Data Engineer will work on making the internal BI pipeline and internal CDP robust and optimizing the infrastructure.
Collaboration with stakeholders, including Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and R&D, is essential.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience with detailed knowledge of data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT, and reporting/analytic tools.
Proficiency in Python development is required.
Applicants should be fluent in relational-based systems and capable of writing complex SQL.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary, with the ability to represent complex algorithms in software.
A strong understanding of database technologies and management systems is essential.
Candidates must have a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Experience with AWS is considered a plus.
