The ideal candidate should be an action-oriented and collaborative problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and can take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Key tasks include crafting high-quality code for scale, availability, and performance, designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, and building integrations with data providers.
The Data Engineer will drive engineering projects from start to finish with a high level of ownership and autonomy.

Advanced experience with complex SQL queries and database/lakehouse technologies such as Redshift, Apache Iceberg, and Postgres is necessary.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and common data-related services (e.g., S3, Redshift, EMR, Glue, Kinesis, Athena) is required.
A bias for action and eagerness to learn and grow within the industry is expected.
Nice to have: experience with real-time streaming frameworks like Apache Kafka, Great Expectations and/or Soda, managing big data and ELT pipelines, and working with orchestration tools like Temporal or Apache Airflow.
Experience in high-growth, venture-backed startups is also a plus.
Benefits:
Pagos offers a full-time remote work opportunity, allowing for flexibility in work location.
The company values creative thinkers who are committed to growth and contributing to collective success.
Employees are encouraged to take ownership of their projects and work autonomously.
The role provides opportunities for continuous learning and development in a fast-paced environment.
Pagos fosters a collaborative work culture where team members can thrive and innovate together.
