WRS Health is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join their team.
The role involves maintaining and optimizing data processes with a strong focus on data transformation, database management, and programming.
Responsibilities include performing data transformation, clean-up, extraction, and other data management activities to ensure accuracy and usability.
The Data Engineer will administer and manage databases, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
The position requires designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes to support data integration and workflows.
The role involves utilizing Python programming and BASH scripting to automate processes and streamline operations.
The Data Engineer will execute and monitor database administrative functions, such as backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify data-related requirements and solutions is essential.

Candidates must have proficiency in Python programming, BASH scripting, and SQL.
Hands-on experience with ETL workflows and tools is required.
A strong knowledge of database administration, including schema design, query optimization, and troubleshooting, is necessary.
Proven experience in data transformation, cleaning, and extraction techniques is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
The ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment is necessary.
Proficiency with AWS tools, including managing and organizing data using S3, creating data visualizations and dashboards in Quicksight, and utilizing ETL-related AWS services like Glue, Athena, and Redshift is required.

This position offers a full-time remote work opportunity.
The working hours are flexible, with options from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
