Remote Data Engineer

Description:

• Data Engineers at Wider Circle play a crucial role in managing customer data, ensuring its accuracy, and facilitating data movement within and outside the organization through technology and automation.
• The position involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to collect, validate, clean, and transfer data.
• Data Engineers are responsible for curating data to maintain high quality for the organization's products.
• Joining a remote Data Science, Engineering, and Analytics team, the role includes tasks such as customer data processing, report automation, new product development, and complex data integration.

Requirements:

• Technical Requirements:
  • Must have 3+ years of experience with AWS or similar platforms like S3, Redshift, RDS, EMR.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for at least 3 years is required.
  • Experience in utilizing APIs for data extraction and updating.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Preferred:
  • Experience with Healthcare Data such as Claims, CDAs/HRAs, Eligibility.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Salesforce API.
  • Familiarity with tools like Matillion, Mulesoft, Airflow, cron, or other automation tools.
  • Experience working with Data Packages in R or Python.
  • Ability to collaborate with Data Scientists to optimize or productionalize models.
