Description:
The Data Engineer at Interwell Health is responsible for corporate claims data acquisition, file loading, and structure development.
Design and develop database systems, processes, and documentation based on company requirements.
Collaborate with development groups to deliver projects to client satisfaction in a timely manner.
Stay updated on the latest technologies relevant to Data Architecture for utilization within the department.
Write and deploy SQL code, guide and mentor junior teammates, and assist with schema design and code review.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve performance issues and anomalies.
Participate in the formulation and design of methodologies and train in developing tools available with the Datawarehouse and Lakehouse infrastructure.
Requirements:
3-5 years of related experience in data engineering with a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
Ability to architect simple and complex solutions related to integration with other applications and design.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong presentation skills.
Experience working under tight deadlines while maintaining high product relevance and quality.
Strong understanding of data lake and Lakehouse architecture principles, data modeling techniques, and data warehousing concepts.
Experience using Azure Data Factory pipelines, Databricks, Azure databases, MS SQL stack, and Azure Cloud migration.
Proficiency in Python.
