Description:

• ClearSource is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team remotely.
• The Data Engineer will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining systems and pipelines that gather, store, and process data.
• Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data storage systems.
• The role involves integrating data from different sources into a unified format suitable for analysis and reporting.
• The Data Engineer will design and implement data models, schemas, and database structures for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Responsibilities also include managing and optimizing data warehouses or data lakes, particularly with cloud-based platforms like Amazon Redshift.
• Ensuring data quality and reliability through validation processes and monitoring data integrity is essential.
• The role requires implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and adhering to privacy regulations.
• Performance optimization of data processing and storage systems is a key task, including identifying bottlenecks and tuning database queries.
• Collaboration with data scientists and analysts to provide clean and reliable data for analysis is expected.
• The Data Engineer will manage complex data workflows using scheduling tools like Apache Airflow.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT is required.
• The candidate must have 2-3 years of experience working with Python Django or Flask.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular for 2-3 years is necessary.
• The candidate should have 2-3 years of experience working with a CSS framework such as Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, is required.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is essential.
• AWS knowledge and experience are necessary for the role.
