The Data Platform team focuses on enhancing data quality, optimizing pipeline performance, and managing costs across the data stack.
As a Data Engineer, you will design, implement, and manage scalable data pipelines using tools like Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, and Fivetran.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Your responsibilities include implementing data governance policies, developing ELT processes, optimizing SQL queries, and diagnosing data-related issues.
You will build a development environment and CI/CD system, ingest data from external systems via APIs, and stay informed on industry trends to improve data engineering practices.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role is required.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL is essential; experience with Golang or JVM-based languages is a plus.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehouses is necessary.
Proficiency in designing efficient database schemas and familiarity with Apache Airflow is required.
Experience with data streaming and Change Data Capture (CDC) is important.
Proficiency in Terraform and GitHub Actions is needed.
Experience in setting up PII anonymization and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) is required.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are essential.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary.
