FundThrough is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their growing startup and contribute to the success of small business owners.
The Data Engineer will build data pipelines and extend the next generation of data tools.
This role involves developing a connection with the organization and leadership, as Data Engineering is crucial for understanding product success and opportunities.
The Data Engineer will work within the Data Science & Engineering team on various projects and technologies, including microservices, event-driven design, analytics, ML modeling, and tooling.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while working with the latest technologies.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Candidates should have 1-3 years of Python development experience.
1-3 years of SQL/No-SQL experience is necessary.
Experience with one or more data workflow management engines such as Airflow, Luigi, Prefect, Dagster, Digdag, or AWS Step Functions is required.
Candidates must have experience in understanding requirements, analyzing data, discovering opportunities, and communicating findings to multiple stakeholders.
Experience working with cloud or on-prem Big Data/MPP analytics platforms like AWS Redshift or Google BigQuery is also required.
