Description:

• K1X is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to join their team, responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, designing scalable data infrastructure, and supporting machine learning models.
• The role involves collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to understand data needs and implement solutions.
• The Staff Data Engineer will also be involved in data governance, data quality, and mentoring junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a data engineer, focusing on unstructured and semi-structured data like financial documents.
• Proficiency in various data storage solutions, cloud platforms, and vendor solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical results effectively.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
