Description:

  • We are a fast-growing, Series A stage health AI company focused on building a clinical operating system for MSK practices.
  • Our goal is to scale to 1,000,000 patients and beyond while being revenue-generating.
  • The team is headquartered in NYC with a satellite office in Vancouver, BC, and much of our engineering team works remotely across the US and Canada.
  • We utilize Notion docs, Slack channels, and GitHub for collaboration, with weekly meetings over Zoom that may include honorary advisors and MedTech executives.
  • The Data Engineer will play a crucial role in building the foundations of data and infrastructure to support product and company growth.
  • Responsibilities include designing and building reliable analytics to enhance decision-making processes for key product and business functions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with Databricks and Spark compute is required.
  • Proficiency in Python, including object-oriented programming and API development, is essential.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB, including querying, data modeling, and optimization, is necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and optimize data processing tasks are required.
  • Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed systems is essential.
  • Preferred qualifications include a strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge of other big data technologies such as Delta Lake, Hadoop, or Kafka is advantageous.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git is a plus.
