Description:
Our client, a digital marketing agency, is looking for a skilled Data Engineer experienced in architecting scalable data solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The role involves designing and maintaining data architectures, implementing ETL processes, managing data pipelines, optimizing databases, and utilizing data lakes for structured and unstructured data.
The Data Engineer will collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.
Security, compliance, monitoring, and optimization of data systems are key responsibilities of this role.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years in data engineering roles with expertise in AWS services and building scalable data architectures.
Proficiency in AWS tools (e.g., S3, RDS, Redshift, Glue), data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop), and programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
Strong problem-solving skills, data-driven mindset, and experience in performance tuning and data optimization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and attention to detail.
Availability to overlap with EST timezone.
Additional Requirements:
Certifications in AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
Domain knowledge in the automotive industry or digital marketing sector.
