Multiplica Talent is seeking a Data Engineer who is passionate about technology and eager to learn and improve their skills.
The Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain systems that process large volumes of data, ensuring availability for other data engineering specialists and analysts.
Responsibilities include data retrieval, debugging, classification, and preparation for storage and subsequent use.
The role involves enabling data and integrating with various corporate and local teams, with a special emphasis on developing a Big Data Governance model to support digital data management within the organization.
Key tasks include designing data architecture, building and maintaining data pipelines, implementing Big Data tools and technologies, optimizing performance and scalability, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with Data Analysts and Data Scientists.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in BI, Big Data, analytics, or Data Warehouse is required.
Candidates must reside in Peru, Colombia, or Chile.
Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform is necessary, with experience implementing tools such as BigQuery, AirFlow, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Dataform.
Advanced knowledge of SQL is required, with the ability to optimize execution times and costs at the data layer.
Experience with ETL processes is essential, including the ability to understand and develop integrations with various data sources, both online and offline, using automated processes. Familiarity with tools like Spark, Hadoop, and/or R is also needed.
Knowledge in developing data visualization dashboards using tools such as Power BI or DataStudio is required.
Understanding of data architecture concepts necessary for structuring large-scale data warehouses is essential.
Candidates should understand how to develop data models that meet multiple needs optimally.
