Remote Data Engineer

Description:

• The Data Engineer will work as a hands-on technical leader, initially as an individual contributor, and later take on technical leadership responsibilities to guide a team in building out the streamOS platform.
• Responsibilities include implementing prototype solutions in a technically structured and scalable manner, documenting, testing, and implementing features and services, discussing and communicating work and design with the CEO, and creating client-facing technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of AWS cloud environments and architecture.
• Proficiency in building systems at scale and deploying client-facing platforms.
• Full stack experience.
• Ability to architect systems for security and data privacy.
• Background in data modeling and data engineering.
• Thoughtful, process-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate openly.
• Proficiency in React, Typescript, and Python programming languages.
