Description:

The company is looking for Data Engineers to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and analytics.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure clean, structured data is available for end-users.
Responsibilities include enhancing data integrity, security, quality, and automation, as well as supporting pipeline maintenance and troubleshooting.
The position is remote, with a preference for candidates located in Chicago, Boston, New York, Dallas, or Miami.
Requirements:
A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required, with a background in Mathematics and Statistics being a plus.
Candidates must have experience with Data Platforms such as AWS, Databricks, or Azure in production environments.
Hands-on experience in data engineering and databases/data warehouses is necessary.
Familiarity with Big Data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, and Map/Reduce is required.
An expert-level understanding of Python, particularly with libraries like Pandas, is essential.
Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., Bash) and Python data application development is needed.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required for teamwork.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for addressing complex challenges.
Experience working with BI teams and tools such as PowerBI is necessary to support analytics work.
