Remote Data Engineer

Description:

Requirements:

• A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required, with a background in Mathematics and Statistics being a plus.
• Candidates must have experience with Data Platforms such as AWS, Databricks, or Azure in production environments.
• Hands-on experience in data engineering and databases/data warehouses is necessary.
• Familiarity with Big Data platforms like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, and Map/Reduce is required.
• An expert-level understanding of Python, particularly with libraries like Pandas, is essential.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., Bash) and Python data application development is needed.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required for teamwork.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for addressing complex challenges.
• Experience working with BI teams and tools such as PowerBI is necessary to support analytics work.
