Description:

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing data team.
You will work on designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines, improving data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decisions with reliable data solutions.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining efficient data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python and SQL.
You will collaborate with product and data teams to understand data requirements and build appropriate solutions.
You will monitor and optimize the performance of existing data pipelines, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Implementing best practices for data governance, quality, and security is also part of your role.
You will build and optimize SQL queries for structured and unstructured data.
Troubleshooting issues in data workflows and contributing to continuous improvements will be expected.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
You must have 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis is necessary.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Snowflake is required.
Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS is expected.
Knowledge of ETL orchestration tools, such as Apache Airflow, is important.
A strong understanding of version control systems is needed.
Experience in debugging and optimizing data pipelines is essential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment are required.
Strong written and spoken English skills are necessary.
