Description:

Pomelo Care is a multi-disciplinary team focused on improving care for moms and babies through technology-driven solutions.
The Data Engineer will play a critical role in building and orchestrating data pipelines to ingest and harmonize data from various sources.
Responsibilities include collaborating on the design and improvement of data infrastructure and partnering with product managers and data scientists to convert raw data into actionable insights.
The role also involves creating custom Slack emojis to express new feelings that are not yet part of the library.

Requirements:

A bachelor's, master's, or PhD in computer science or a related field is required.
At least two years of experience in a data engineering role within a fast-paced environment is necessary.
Proficiency in Python and SQL or similar programming languages is essential.
Experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines in a production setting is required.
Knowledge of visualization tools such as Metabase or Jupyter Notebooks is needed.
A passion for tackling complex problems while avoiding unnecessary complexity is important.
