Remote Data Engineer Analyst - Turkey

Description:

• The Data Engineer Analyst will be responsible for the intake, validation, and management of large datasets used for risk modeling and financial analysis.
• This role will ensure the integrity and security of the data, collaborating closely with the Data Team Lead and other departments.
• The Data Engineer Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring that the data used in credit risk models and financial planning is accurate, reliable, and well-organized for analysis.
• Essential functions include maintaining and updating databases that store key financial and operational data, ensuring that data is structured efficiently for use in credit risk models and financial forecasting.
• The analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, especially the econometric analysts and data engineers, to ensure that data flows smoothly between departments.
• The role involves managing the collection and intake of large datasets from various sources and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of incoming data by conducting thorough validation checks.
• The analyst will provide accurate data to the econometric analysts and assist in transforming raw data into valuable insights for risk models and forecasting reports.

Requirements:

• 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering or Finance is necessary.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in data engineering, finance, or related roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with data security practices is preferred but not mandatory.
• Advanced SQL skills are required.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams is required.
