Remote Data Engineer Associate

Description:

• The Data Engineer Associate position at First Help Financial involves assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Snowflake database warehouse.
• Collaborating with senior database engineers and analysts to develop and optimize SQL queries.
• Monitoring database performance, providing support for troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
• Participating in database development projects, including data modeling and schema design.
• Implementing and enforcing database security and data protection measures.
• Ensuring data quality through validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
• Supporting data migration and integration efforts across various platforms.
• Documenting database processes, configurations, and procedures.
• Monitoring and creating data pipelines using Rivery and Python.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of database concepts, SQL, and relational database management systems.
• Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Not afraid to ask questions.
• Some Weekend and Night support is required at times.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
