Description:
The Data Engineer Associate position at First Help Financial involves assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Snowflake database warehouse.
Collaborating with senior database engineers and analysts to develop and optimize SQL queries.
Monitoring database performance, providing support for troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
Participating in database development projects, including data modeling and schema design.
Implementing and enforcing database security and data protection measures.
Ensuring data quality through validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
Supporting data migration and integration efforts across various platforms.
Documenting database processes, configurations, and procedures.
Monitoring and creating data pipelines using Rivery and Python.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of database concepts, SQL, and relational database management systems.
Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Not afraid to ask questions.
Some Weekend and Night support is required at times.
Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
