Remote Data Engineer (Audible Project)

Description:

• Atimi is seeking an experienced data engineer for the Audible Project, based in Seattle, WA, with the option for remote work from any province in Canada.
• The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement solutions, analyzing source systems, defining data sources, building data models, implementing ETL and data cleansing solutions, and maintaining data infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate should have a background in software development, data engineering, cloud technologies, business intelligence, and strong communication skills.
• Responsibilities include delivering high-quality outcomes for customers and maintaining expertise in the field.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, analytics, and consumer analytics solutions.
• Expertise in SQL, Data Warehousing, AWS technologies (Redshift, RDS, S3, EMR), Linux scripting, business intelligence reporting tools, distributed computing, and NoSQL databases.
• Strong skills in data warehouse and relational database design, data mining algorithms, data cleansing, and client interaction.
• Must be located in Canada with no relocation support provided.
