Description:

  • PeoplePlusTech Inc. is urgently looking for a Data Engineer to work remotely with their US Client.
  • The role involves assisting in designing and implementing ETL processes using AWS Glue to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data lakes, data warehouses, or other target systems.
  • The Data Engineer will collaborate with senior data engineers to understand data requirements and contribute to the development of efficient and scalable Glue jobs.
  • Responsibilities include supporting the optimization and performance tuning of Glue jobs to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • The position requires contributing to the development and maintenance of data pipelines and workflows to automate data ingestion, transformation, and data quality checks.
  • The Data Engineer will work closely with the team to identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data availability, accessibility, and timeliness.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of data processing jobs is also part of the role.
  • The candidate will learn and apply best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security within the AWS environment.
  • Staying updated with the latest AWS services, tools, and techniques related to data engineering is essential, along with actively participating in knowledge sharing and learning opportunities.
  • A proactive attitude towards professional growth and enthusiasm for learning new technologies is expected.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience in designing and implementing ETL processes using AWS Glue.
