Remote Data Engineer

Description:

• Supabase is an Open Source and fully remote company building developer tools for databases, and they are seeking a Data Engineer.
• The Data Engineer will create, refactor, and test Airflow jobs that sync data among various input sources, including Hubspot and dbt reporting models.
• The role involves creating, refactoring, and testing DBT models to develop a single source of truth for each data feature.
• The Data Engineer will also be responsible for developing reports based on DBT model outputs.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be data engineers with experience in complex DBT models and managing Airflow pipelines.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally using Pulumi, is required.
• The ideal candidate should be comfortable refactoring data systems in-place while maintaining high uptime.
• Candidates should be highly autonomous and capable of translating business needs into concrete metrics.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration is essential, as the candidate will need to deliver insights for Product and Business teams.
