Remote Data Engineer

Description:

• Dealfront, a remote-first SaaS company, is seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to contact processing, data processing, and system development.
• The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing existing data models, and collaborating with teams to meet data needs.
• The Data Engineer will also build and maintain data integration APIs, ensure data security and privacy compliance, and operate and troubleshoot production-grade data pipelines.
• The position offers the opportunity to work with a global team and be part of a leading Go-To-Market platform for B2B companies in Europe.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or 5+ years as a Software Engineer and 2 years as a Data Engineer.
• Proficiency in PHP, SQL, and either Python or Rust, with experience in Data Analytics tasks.
• Familiarity with Linux, Postgres, Redis, CI/CD Pipelines, and writing Data and Unit Tests.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and located within European timezones.

Nice to have skills:

• Knowledge of K8S, Postgres, AWS/Cloud Platforms, Data Mesh, Symphony/Doctrine, Kafka, Solr, and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
