StackAdapt is looking to add Data Engineers to its data science team, which works on solving complex problems for the digital advertising platform.
The role involves working directly with data scientists, data engineers, the Engineering team, and the CTO to build pipelines and ad optimization models.
The position requires handling databases that process millions of requests per second, providing ample data and problems to tackle.
The company is remote-first and open to candidates located anywhere in the US.

Requirements:

Candidates must have the ability to take ambiguously defined tasks and break them down into actionable steps.
A deep understanding of algorithm and software design, concurrency, and data structures is required.
Experience in implementing probabilistic or machine learning algorithms is necessary.
An interest in designing scalable distributed systems is expected.
A high GPA from a well-respected Computer Science program is preferred.
Enjoyment of working in a friendly, collaborative environment with others is essential.
