Description:
The Ambr Group is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team in Buenos Aires, offering a full-time remote position.
The role involves end-to-end data management, from sourcing data to generating insights and automation for the team.
Data is central to the company's operations, and the Data Engineer will collaborate with various teams across the business.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining scalable infrastructure for data access, extracting and preparing data from multiple sources, and setting up ETLs for efficient data access.
The Data Engineer will monitor and audit data flows for accuracy, document underlying data sources, and engineer efficient data housing and querying processes.
The role also includes managing self-service tools for end users and leveraging emerging technologies to automate insights and workflows.
The Data Engineer will partner with teams to create automated actions based on data and develop creative solutions for data integration between tools.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in data roles at high-growth companies.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, transformation, and data collection is required.
Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing technologies, such as Snowflake, Fivetran, and dbt, is preferred.
Candidates should have experience in system monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding.
A self-starter attitude is essential, with a passion for learning, experimenting, and making an impact in fast-paced environments.
