The Data Engineer will work closely with clients to execute effective data strategies, including production-quality ETL and streaming data processing pipelines, data lake design, data governance, and the development of reports and dashboards.
Responsibilities include understanding client objectives, tailoring system designs, communicating concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and delivering innovative solutions to complex problems.
The ideal candidate should possess strong mathematical and statistical expertise, a natural curiosity, a creative mindset, and proficiency with tools such as Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, and scikit-learn, along with experience in AWS and CI/CD practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and at least one other relevant programming language (e.g., R, Java).
Strong experience with data tools like Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, and scikit-learn for data processing and analysis is required.
Experience with both GCP and AWS data services and ecosystems is essential.
Candidates should have strong experience with Data Warehousing solutions (e.g., BigQuery) and Transactional DBs (such as Spanner, AlloyDB, MySQL, Postgres, etc.).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices for automating data pipeline deployments is necessary.
Previous experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role working with big data pipelines is required.
Proficiency with visualization, reporting, and analytics tools such as Looker and Tableau is expected.
Knowledge of other big data tools such as Hadoop and Flink is a plus.
Candidates must demonstrate fluency in SQL or similar data manipulation syntax for relational databases.
Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are necessary for collaboration with clients and team members.
The ability to self-motivate and manage tasks and projects according to an agreed roadmap is essential.
