Description:

Kojo is seeking a talented Data Engineer for a 6-month remote contract based in India.
The role involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipeline architecture.
Responsibilities include managing ELT processes using Stitch, maintaining AWS Data Migration Service tasks, and designing data models within Redshift.
The Data Engineer will develop and maintain data transformation pipelines using Python, dbt, AWS Lambda, and Dagster.
The position also requires creating and maintaining data marts for various business domains and supporting containerized applications on AWS EKS.
Collaboration with the engineering team is essential to ensure data quality and accessibility.

Requirements:

A strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling is required.
Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Amazon Redshift is necessary.
Experience with AWS Data Migration Service and Change Data Capture methodologies is essential.
Hands-on experience with ELT/ETL tools, particularly Stitch, is required.
Proficiency in Python programming for data transformation and pipeline development is necessary.
Experience with dbt for data transformations and testing is required.
Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools, specifically Dagster, is essential.
Knowledge of Apache Superset for data visualization is required.
An understanding of containerization concepts, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS is necessary.
Strong SQL skills for complex data manipulations and optimizations are required.
The ability to implement and maintain efficient data pipeline architectures is essential.

The salary for this position will depend on various factors, including experience level and skillset.
This position is eligible for a new hire equity grant.
