Description:
PayPay is seeking a Data Engineer for the Credit Modeling team to enhance ETL processes and data by collaborating with data-savvy stakeholders.
Responsibilities include designing, constructing, and managing distributed batch and real-time data pipelines and models.
The role involves enabling actionable use cases using data with a user- and product-centric approach.
The Data Engineer will collaborate across various engineering domains, support teams lacking data engineers, and ensure privacy and security standards are met.
Requirements:
Must have over 3 years of experience in building intricate data pipelines and engaging with technical and business stakeholders.
Proficiency in at least one primary language (e.g., Java, Scala, Python) and SQL, along with familiarity with technologies like BigQuery, Spark, AWS Redshift, Kafka, or Kinesis streaming.
Experience in creating and maintaining ETL processes, operating DataLake or Data Warehouse, and strong fundamentals in big data and machine learning.
Preferred qualifications include expertise in RESTful APIs, Pub/Sub Systems, Database Clients, analytics, data quality measurement, MLOps, machine learning frameworks, AWS services, microservices, data security, and privacy.
Bilingual Japanese-English skills are advantageous.
