Remote Data Engineer (Crypto)

Description:

• The Tie is a leading provider of information services for digital assets, offering The Tie Terminal, a comprehensive workstation for institutional digital asset investors.
• The Data Engineer position involves building data-intensive products, improving data pipeline and infrastructure, and working with blockchain data.
• Responsibilities include Python development for on-chain data efforts, collaborating with developers to optimize backend infrastructure, and working with the product team to empower customers with datasets.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in computer science or relevant experience required.
• Significant experience with SQL and working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with AWS services like AWS Lambda, EC2, ECS, ECR, and S3, or similar products on other cloud providers.
• Experience designing, building, and working with APIs.
• Ability to develop scalable Python codebases and collaborate with different teams.
• Strong interest in crypto and data, with prior professional experience in crypto being a plus.
