The position is for an experienced analytics engineer who will enable self-serve insights for data-driven decision-making within the enterprise data team.
Responsibilities include assessing current data models, building insightful data models and dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders, and educating cross-functional teams on leveraging data.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or in similar Data Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics roles.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience working with Azure resources and data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and DataflowGen2 is necessary.
Strong programming skills in SQL to transform data into reliable data models are essential.
Experience in building data reporting and dashboards using visualization tools like Power BI, Looker, or Tableau is required.
Candidates should possess problem-solving and communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and business teams.
Nice to have: Cloud-related data certifications (Data Engineer Associate, Data Engineer Pro, etc.) and experience working with Snowflake.
