Description:
The position is for a fully remote, long-term contract Data Engineer at various levels of professional experience.
The role involves shaping data solutions that drive operational success in a large enterprise environment.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining reliable data pipelines, streamlining ETL/ELT processes, and contributing to a strong data foundation for informed decision-making.
The Data Engineer will provide support to the ML and data science teams.
Compensation ranges from $40-$70/hr, depending on the level of experience.
Requirements:
Candidates must reside within the continental US while working.
This role is W-2-only and is a long-term contract position; no C2C arrangements are allowed.
Sponsorship is not available for this role.
Candidates must work standard Eastern Time business hours and be exclusively dedicated to this role.
A degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is required.
A true passion for data and enthusiasm for the role is essential.

Strong communication skills and a sense of humor are necessary.
A humble approach to receiving and implementing feedback is expected.
For entry to mid-level positions, 1-4 years of hands-on experience is required, along with strong SQL skills, familiarity with Jenkins pipelines, and basic knowledge of Google BigQuery.
Nice-to-have skills include exposure to DBT Core, familiarity with Tableau, and Python (Pandas/NumPy) familiarity.
For senior-level positions, 5-7 years of professional experience in a large enterprise environment is required, along with advanced SQL expertise, proficiency with Jenkins pipelines, and strong experience with Google BigQuery.
Extensive use of DBT Core, experience with Tableau, and proficiency in Python (Pandas/NumPy) for advanced data manipulation are also required.
