Remote Data Engineer

Description:

• Architect, build, and maintain expansive and resilient data pipelines capable of handling large volumes of data efficiently.
• Utilize dbt (Data Build Tool) to refine and deposit data into Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and coherence.
• Craft intricate SQL queries for data manipulation and extraction, optimizing performance for vast datasets.
• Design database schemas and data models that align with business needs.
• Lead the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes for data pipelines, ensuring seamless updates and maintenance.
• Create and maintain clear data documentation to serve as a blueprint for the data infrastructure.
• Monitor the performance and cost-effectiveness of data pipelines and warehouses, optimizing for efficiency and value.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data engineering, with expertise in dbt, Snowflake, SQL, and data system architecture.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data modeling, with the ability to integrate these elements effectively.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
