Description:
Common Room is a customer intelligence platform that captures buying signals to help companies reach the right person with the right context at the right time.
The company is seeking a Data Engineer to build efficient data pipelines for processing billions of events and user actions daily.
The role involves transforming data to provide insights for customers and extracting product and business insights for Common Room.
The Data Engineer will work on scaling systems to support company growth and ensure internal capabilities meet customer needs.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience, including at least 2 years working with ETL pipelines and data warehouses.

Candidates should be passionate about their craft and capable of owning large backend projects.
Effective collaboration with other engineers, including application and front-end engineers, is required.
Good judgment regarding trade-offs and tools for problem-solving is necessary, with a preference for stable technologies over trendy ones.
Candidates should design systems based on customer problems and enjoy creating simple, elegant solutions.
Consideration of observability, SLA, and scalability is important, while avoiding premature optimization.
Familiarity with AWS, Postgres, and Node.js is required.
