Description:
The Luxor team is seeking a Data Engineer specializing in finance, accounting, and business analytics for their remote position in LATAM.
The role involves working on solutions for Bitcoin mining and compute power, including ASIC brokerage desk, mining pool, firmware, hashrate derivatives, and data platform.
The candidate will report to the lead data engineer and must be based in the Americas time zone.
Responsibilities include assisting the accounting and finance team in data analysis, building scalable data pipelines, governing cloud-deployed databases, collaborating on scalable and secure architecture, driving data systems to be near real-time, and participating in feature analysis.
Requirements:
Understanding of accounting principles, including constructing P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
Experience in building data pipelines/ETL, design principles, Python, PostgreSQL, PL/pgSQL development, and administration of large databases.
Expertise in scalability solutions, multi-region replication, failover solutions, and data warehouse technologies.
Ability to work cross-functionally with teams in Finance, Accounting, and Business Operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Deep understanding of programming and proficiency in English.
