Description:
The Fintech Data Engineer at FREE NOW will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable data products for Analytics and Data Science teams.
They will design and implement end-to-end data pipelines to ensure data quality, consistency, and availability.
The role involves data ingestion from various sources in real-time and batch processes.
The position requires developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, focusing on data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers.
Effective communication with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on data engineering projects is essential for fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should be a problem solver, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields with a strong emphasis on data management and engineering is required.
Advanced knowledge of SQL, database management systems, and data modeling is necessary.
Experience with Data Orchestration tools like ApacheAirflow, ETL tools such as Gusty or dbt, and Data Streaming tools like Kafka and Debezium is preferred.
Familiarity with Modern API development using FastAPI and SQLModel is appreciated.
Fluency in business English is essential, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
