Description:

  • The Fintech Data Engineer at FREE NOW will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable data products for Analytics and Data Science teams.
  • They will design and implement end-to-end data pipelines to ensure data quality, consistency, and availability.
  • The role involves data ingestion from various sources in real-time and batch processes.
  • The position requires developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, focusing on data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on data engineering projects is essential for fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should be a problem solver, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields with a strong emphasis on data management and engineering is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, database management systems, and data modeling is necessary.
  • Experience with Data Orchestration tools like ApacheAirflow, ETL tools such as Gusty or dbt, and Data Streaming tools like Kafka and Debezium is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Modern API development using FastAPI and SQLModel is appreciated.
  • Fluency in business English is essential, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
