Description:

• The Fintech Data Engineer at FREE NOW will be a crucial part of the expanding end-to-end Fintech Data Team, collaborating closely with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and fellow Data Engineers.
• Responsibilities include transforming raw data into actionable data products, designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines, and performing data ingestion from various sources in real-time and batch manner.
• The role involves developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, focusing on data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to facilitate a data-driven culture within the organization.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields with a strong emphasis on data management and engineering is required.
• Advanced knowledge in SQL, database management systems, and data modeling is essential.
• Proven experience with Data Orchestration tools like ApacheAirflow, ETL tools such as Gusty or dbt, and familiarity with Data Streaming tools such as Kafka and Debezium is necessary.
• Fluency in business English and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is a must for supporting cross-functional collaboration.
