Description:
The purpose of the Data Engineer position is to leverage data across the company to enhance commercial decisions and provide excellent campaign management.
As an AI/ML Data Engineer, you will research, build, design, and automate predictive models along with metrics to track their progress.
You will write clean and high-quality code that is easy to understand and maintain.
The role involves implementing various methodologies of data extraction, transformation, and storage, as well as creating and improving predictive models.
You will work with a global team of data engineers and data analysts within the Data Services department.
Key tasks include writing maintainable code, developing models aligned with business objectives, solving complex problems with automated models, evaluating existing models for improvements, and ensuring quality and accuracy of results.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, data engineering, business intelligence, business administration, or a similar field with a focus on math and statistics/data engineering is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a data engineer on AI/ML projects using Python, R, or similar technologies is required.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data engineering pipelines, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, ADLS, Azure Event Hub, and Azure SQL DB is necessary.
A solid understanding of scrum practices and an agile mindset is essential.
Very strong knowledge of Python (including libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Keras, Flask) and R is required.
Experience in designing end-to-end ETL solutions using Microsoft Azure technology is crucial.
Familiarity with cloud services (Azure and AWS) and experience with BI/Data Analysis technologies is expected.
Experience with big data technologies, Data Bricks, Spark, Scala, and/or JSON is preferred.
Strong analytical skills, understanding of machine learning principles, and excellent communication skills are essential.
