Remote Data Engineer - GP

Description:

• The Data Engineer position at Gorilla Logic involves designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence (BI) solutions to support client's data-driven decision-making.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining BI dashboards and reports using Tableau, collaborating with cross-functional teams, automating report generation, enhancing reporting capabilities, writing SQL queries, building Python scripts, optimizing data models and queries within Snowflake, and staying updated with BI trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a BI Engineer or Analyst, focusing on Tableau and Snowflake.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports, connecting to multiple data sources, and working with Snowflake.
• Knowledge of BI design patterns, data visualization best practices, reporting automation techniques, Python, Airflow, and Kafka.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• High level of English proficiency, both verbal and written.
• Ability to effectively present ideas and information to English-speaking stakeholders.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
