Description:
The Data Engineer III position at Carwow Group involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL/ELT data pipelines.
The role requires writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
Responsibilities include implementing and managing data workflows and dependencies using tools like Airflow.
The engineer will build and maintain data models and data warehouses using Snowflake or similar technologies.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions is essential.
Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across the data lifecycle is a key responsibility.
The position also involves helping to improve data engineering processes and infrastructure.
The team is focused on empowering all Carwow teams with access to reliable, actionable data and enabling informed decision-making through scalable and secure data platforms.
Requirements:
Significant experience in data engineering is required.
Candidates must be comfortable writing advanced Python and SQL.
Extensive experience in building ETL/ELT data pipelines is necessary.
Experience using data transformation tools like dbt is preferred.
Candidates should have managed script dependencies with tools like Airflow.
Substantial data warehouse experience using Snowflake or similar technologies is required.
Nice to have: Experience with Terraform, Ruby, data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI), Amplitude, DevOps, Heroku, Kafka, AWS/GCP, etc.
