Description:

HackerOne is seeking a Data Engineer III, DataOne, to lead the discovery, architecture, and development of high-performance, scalable data products and solutions.
The role involves building the foundation that powers HackerOne's lakehouse architecture and scales their cutting-edge AI.
The Data Engineer III will have the autonomy to contribute to challenging projects and collaborate across the company.
Responsibilities include delivering high-quality, high-impact code, leading cross-functional product and technical initiatives, and supporting continuous evolution and innovation within the DataOne codebase.
The position emphasizes the importance of discoverability, usability, reliability, and compliance of information and insights across the company.
The onboarding process includes learning the technology stack (Python, Airflow, Snowflake, DBT, Meltano, Fivetran, Looker Cloud, AWS) and meeting team members.
The first 30 days will focus on getting to know HackerOne, with impactful contributions expected within 60 days and continuous innovation within 90 days.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a similar role with a proven track record of developing data frameworks, preferably using Python.
At least 4 years of experience in building and optimizing data pipelines, products, and solutions.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation in a fast-paced work environment.
Proficiency in various data technologies and tools such as Airflow, Snowflake, Meltano, Fivetran, DBT, AWS, and Looker.
Strong programming skills, along with knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
Preferred qualifications include experience working with Kubernetes, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with Agile and iterative development processes.
