Description:

The Data Engineering team is responsible for the development and management of the Enterprise Data Platform, which is crucial for integrating and managing data across the business.
The Data Engineer will join the Data Infrastructure pod and will be responsible for developing and maintaining data solutions and data pipeline infrastructure.
The role involves collaboration with Software Development and DevOps teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the technical stack.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing data engineering solutions, maintaining performance transparency, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of technical experience is typically required for this position.
Candidates must demonstrate flexibility in adjusting to technology stack selection and have a strong desire to learn new technologies quickly.
Strong proficiency in data modeling and SQL fluency, preferably with exposure to multiple dialects, is essential.
Scripting skills relevant to the development of data pipelines, with a strong preference for Python, are required.
An understanding of QA practices relevant to Data Engineering and familiarity with source control tools and CI/CD is necessary.
Candidates should have an understanding of performance tuning across multiple components of the technical stack.
Fluency in English is required, and candidates must be independent engineers, not part of an agency, and able to work approximately 40 hours per week.
