Description:

• Laba Global is seeking a Data Engineer to enhance their analytics department and support data-driven decision-making.
• The role involves developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• You will integrate data from various systems through APIs.
• The position requires automating processes using Python.
• You will work with cloud databases such as BigQuery, Redshift, Postgres, and MySQL.
• Data visualization and solution presentation will be done using low-code tools.
• Collaboration with analysts, Data Scientists, and business teams to create relevant data solutions is essential.
• Documenting processes is a critical part of the job.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in SQL is required.
• Proficiency in Python is necessary.
• Understanding of database architecture and experience with ETL processes is expected.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices is important.
• The ability to write documentation and explain solutions clearly is required.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to structure ideas and communicate them effectively, are essential.
• You should be responsible, a team player, able to work independently, and comfortable providing feedback, even if it is difficult.
• Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher is required.
• Experience with Power BI, Retool, or other visualization platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with ML/AI libraries is advantageous.
• Experience in testing APIs using Postman is beneficial.
• A technical or mathematical education is preferred.
